The conference

The International Conference on New Forming Technology (ICNFT) is a forum for researchers and professional practitioners to exchange ideas and experience and to discuss aspects of leading-edge novel forming technologies designed to meet the needs of manufacturing industry in present and future years. The 5th ICNFT will feature special new forming topics as well as the final colloquium of the DFG Collaborative Research Center SFB 747  Micro Cold Forming and also an intermediate colloquium of the DFG Priority Programme 1676 Dry Metal Forming.

PRESENTATIONS and Posters

Oral session presentation:

We provide a computer with Microsoft Office in each conference room. 
Bring your presentation on an USB stick with you.
Duration of presentation: 15 minutes + 5 minutes discussion
Format: powerpoint in pptx format  and a pdf as backup
Format Beamer: 16:9
Videos: mp4 or AVI

 

Poster:

Space for a DIN A0 upright format poster (Portrait, height 119 cm, width 84 cm). 
Please bring your printed poster with you with registration.

Guided city walk in Bremen

 

Explore Bremen´s special attractions and find out
about Bremen, its buildings, history and people. You
will see the famous town musicians as well as the
impressive town hall, belonging to the UNESCO world
heritage sites. You stroll along the river side and your guide will take you to the hidden small streets of the oldest quarter of Bremen, called Schnoor.

  • Use tram Line 6 (marked "University") and leave at stop "Domsheide".
  • Take a 5 minutes walk along the Dom and the historical market square and follow the signs to Böttcherstraße.
